If there’s one thing that the last couple of years has shown us, it’s that communication has never been easier. Since February 2020, I’ve personally been involved in several online meetings that simply couldn’t have occurred without an enormous time undertaking by all those involved, not to mention an equally large carbon footprint, to get us together, from every corner of the globe.
However, we mustn’t forget the value of face-to-face, human interaction. Nothing beats being present with someone; enabling us to communicate on a truly personal and individual level. I’ve been starkly reminded about this this week, and benefitted greatly from doing so.
At Auseras we pride ourselves in being a human-centric organisation. Although we leverage technology to help progress our learning, our students are, first and foremost, people. We communicate with them as individuals, not as part of dataset in a spreadsheet. This helps us to know them more fully.
We grow people. And knowing what makes them flourish is the key.
